Due to sewer work LES will not be accessible by Scottsville Rd. on Monday morning. Everyone will have to come to drop off line in front of the building. You will need to come Meador Drive by the football field. There will be someone directing traffic.
Each year the Lafayette Lions Club participates in a Drug Essay project. Forms were taken to the English teachers at MCJH and MCHS, RBSJH, and RBSHS last Friday. Attached are pictures of the forms for the competition. It is divided into 2 categories - 6th-8th and 9th-12th. The first-place winner in each category will win $50. I will pick up the essays on November 28, 2023. If you or your child did not get a form, please check with their English teachers or call me. Bus 19 which serves the Red Boiling Springs area was involved in a very minor accident this morning. All students have been reported as being uninjured. Additional school system personnel are en route as well as law enforcement, as they will have to investigate. Another bus has been dispatched to finish the route and take the students to school as soon as law enforcement releases them from the scene.
