Macon County School District's school year for students is 180 days. Your child's attendance in school every day is a necessity for learning. The Tennessee Compulsory Attendance Law (TCA 4-6-3001) states that all students from ages 6-18 must attend school. Our Attendance Coordinator investigates any and all attendance referrals from our schools.
