Flu shots forms are due at your child’s school by Oct. 14th. Shots will be given on Oct. 21st. Anyone wanting their child to receive a flu shot must return the completed form by Oct. 14th.
Macon Co. Schools will observe Fall Break Mon. Oct 7-Fri Oct 11. All schools resume regular schedules on Mon Oct 14.
This Friday at LES is dress-up day for $1 in the following categories...wear a hat, dress like a rock star, clothes inside out, tacky clothes, wear sunglasses, dress like your favorite teacher, wear your pajamas, dress like a superhero.

Tonight is College Night at MCHS from 6:30-8pm. Over 25 colleges, technical schools, military branches and other post-secondary organizations will be at the school to meet with students and parents. All grades and parents invited.
Tomorrow, Tuesday October 1st, is Senior ACT retake day at MCHS.

The issue with the Progress Reports not showing in the Portfolio area is now fixed. Also, REMINDER....next Wednesday, Sept 18th is Parent/Teacher Conference and students do not attend school this day.

Financial Aid Night at MCHS is Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6pm. The meeting will be held in the MCHS Auditorium.
MCJH will have its first FCA meeting of the year on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 7:15 am. Meetings will be every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.

The MCHS Homecoming Parade start time has been moved to 12:30pm instead of 1pm as previously scheduled. With the predicted heat index, the parade will start at 12:30pm to shorten the wait time elem students will be outdoors and to allow them to cool down before loading busses.
