Reminder: If your child tests positive for COVID-19 or is in close contact (6 feet or less for 15 minutes or longer) with someone who tests positive for COVID-19 over Christmas Break, DO NOT send your child back to school on Monday, January 4th and notify your child's principal or school nurse so they can give you the proper quarantine guidelines for school. We must have your cooperation with this in order to prevent mass numbers of students being quarantined after returning from the break!!!

The entrance drive between MCJH and the funeral home cemetery will be closed from 8am to 2pm this week due to construction. This drive will not allow access to HWY 52 when leaving from MCHS or MCJH from behind MCJH. The MCJH driveway between the school and soccer field will be open for traffic during the school day.

MCHS FCCLA is collecting donations for a women’s shelter in Nashville. Colleen’s Bakery will be the drop off location on Nov 13-14th from 9a-4p. When dropping off items and making a purchase, you will receive a free mini cupcake or truffle (up to three). Items that are needed include: all sizes of ladies underwear, winter clothing, gloves, scarves, hats, socks, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, board games, books, current magazines, hand lotion, nail polish, and ponchos. Please make sure all clothing items are new, but gently used puzzles, playing cards, board games, books and magazines are okay. If you have any questions please contact maustin@maconcountyschools.org
