Due to the continuing increase in absenteeism due to illness, Macon County Schools will be closed the rest of this week, Wed. Feb. 5th-Fri. Feb. 7th. Normal schedules will resume on Monday, Feb. 10th.

Macon County High Senior Night ceremonies for basketball will begin tomorrow-Tuesday- evening at 4:45. The doors will open at 4:00. Come out and support our MC Tigerettes, Tigers and Seniors.

Registration for the Macon Co. Soccer League Spring Season is now open until Jan. 25th. Parents can sign-up their children at maconcountysoccer.com or visit Video Corner to do a paper form. The deadline to sign-up is this Saturday, Jan. 25th.

LES and Westside girls interested in trying out for the 5th/6th girls basketball team need to attend tryouts for the fall season on Jan. 28-29 from 3:330-5:00pm.

***REMINDER*** Monday, Jan. 20th is MLK Day and there is no school in Macon County. All schools resume normal schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 21st.

The Healthy Macon County Committee is again doing the Healthy Selfie Contest open to everyone in Macon Co. To participate, visit the Healthy Macon County Facebook page, like it & post 30 healthy selfies in 45 days. Winning school gets $100 and more prizes for community members!

Friday’s Basketball game vs DeKalb County has been moved to DeKalb County. The schedule previously said it was a Home game...but it is actually AWAY. Tip-off is still 6pm.

Fairlane Elem School will begin using the Safe Visitor Program on Mon., Jan. 13th for all visitors. This program will require all visitors to present a valid driver's license before entering the school. More details available on the Macon County Schools facebook page.

The T2 Report card is now available in Skyward Parent Access in the Portfolio area of the website/app. Anyone needing tech support or to create a Skyward Parent Account, email skywardhelpdesk@maconcountyschools.org Paper report cards will be sent home tomorrow, Fri Jan. 10th.

OSHA & Sub Teacher required inservice will be held Jan. 23 at 9am at the Macon BOE Central Office. Everyone wanting to sub in the school system must have an application on file and register for a background check prior to this day. Questions, call 615-666-2125.

The RevTrak Program for adding money to student lunch accounts will be down for maintenance from Friday, Jan. 3rd thru Sat 4, 2019. No payments can be processed during this time. RevTrak will be online by Jan. 6th to begin the spring term.

Due to weather conditions, Macon Co. Schools will open 2 hrs late tomorrow, Tuesday Dec. 17th.

Substitutes will be paid this Thursday, December 19 for all work performed November 18 - December 6. These checks may be picked up at the Board of Education between 7:00 - 10:00 a.m. All checks not picked up by 10:00am will be mailed.

After-school programs at Central and Westside are cancelled for today.
