2022 MCJH Soccer Camp

Macon County Jr High Softball will be conducting tryouts for the upcoming 2022/2023 season for upcoming 6th, 7th, or 8th graders. Tryouts will be held at the Mark Shrum Memorial Complex behind the high school on Tuesday July 26th from 5-8pm. Anyone wishing to sign up on the day of tryouts can do so by coming by the Complex early from 3:30-5pm. Any student wishing to tryout must have a current sports physical on file in the school office or can bring a current physical with them to the tryout. Any physical brought to tryout must be signed and dated by physician to be valid. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Head Coach Johnny Price at 615-655-7270

The Macon County Board of Education will meet in Special Session Monday, July, 18 2022 @ 6:00 pm at the Macon County School Board office. The item on the agenda is to deliberate as whether or not to reopen the process for choosing a new Director of Macon County Schools.

Auditions for The Addams Family Musical are Monday, July 25 for grades K-12. Students will need to have a few measures of a song to sing for auditions. They will take place at 3:00 in the MCHS Auditorium. Students that receive a call back will be asked to return on Thursday, July 28 at 3:00.

All Skyward Access will be locked starting at 8:00 am on June 30th in order to complete year end rollover. Another post will be made when rollover is complete and Employee Access is available again. Family Access will open back up on July 18th for Returning Student Online Registration. More info and directions to come for Online Registration. 💙🏀💙 For the 2022-23 Season 💙🏀💙 Macon County High School Girls Basketball tryouts will be held on June 24th at 10- 11 AM in the high school gymnasium.

MCHS SOFTBALL TRYOUTS

Coach Pete Groesbeck is having an introductory practice/parent meeting for jr. high (incoming 6th, 7th, & 8th grade) cross country runners next Tuesday, June 21st at 6 pm at the MCHS cross country course. Regular practices will not begin until July 18, but he wants to meet with everyone that can before the dead period begins. If anyone has sports physicals already completed, he’ll take them that night, and no worries if not-just make sure to have them completed by July 18. Thanks!!

Red Boiling Springs School is having its second annual Hilltop Market Sale located at RBSHS this Friday and Saturday! This is a fundraiser for Red Boiling Spring School! All money raised from the event to go to the school. Please like and share our event on your personal social media pages. Our school's Facebook page is @RedBoilingSpringsHS. Timeing for the event: June 10th & 11th, 2022 Friday 10:00 AM-7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00AM- 4:00 PM The event is an indoor-outdoor marketplace and shopping event. We will have a full range of different items including handmade jewelry, original art, clothing, and so much more. Admission is $3.00 per person each day, and children 5 and under are free.

MCHS Tennis team is holding a tennis camp the week of June 20th (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) for Grades 4 through 9 (as of then end of the 21-22 school year). Wear gym clothes and shoes. All equipment will be provided. Sign up and pay on the 1st day of camp.
