Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to inform you of a situation today at MCJH involving a reported threat of violence against a student by another student . We took the matter seriously and immediately investigated it with school administration and the appropriate authorities. We want to reassure you that no students were in danger at any time. The investigation was conducted promptly and thoroughly, and appropriate safety measures were followed throughout the process.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priorities. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.

The event promises to be an exciting day for young football and cheerleading fans and their families. The celebration will feature a Cash Express tailgate party, complimentary food and refreshments, football toss and field-goal kicking contests, Tennessee Tech football, a parachuted game ball delivery, and fireworks following the game.
FREE ADMISSION FOR YOUTH IN JERSEYS OR CHEERLEADING OUTFITS

Second Quarter - Field Goal Challenge: A lucky child 12 years old or younger will have the opportunity to take the field during the second quarter and attempt a field goal from the goal line for a chance to win $1000.

REMINDER! MCHS Senior Retakes are tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9th. Please see the attached schedule. If your child needs a retake but does not appear on this schedule, they can come any time before 11 am. Boys, please wear or bring a white button-up shirt and a tie (extras will be provided). Girls, please wear or bring a spaghetti-strap tank (extras will be provided). Casual retakes will also be available tomorrow. One outfit is included. Additional outfits will be $10.

Fairlane Elementary School would like to welcome Interim Principal Mrs. Andrea Robertson. Mrs. Robertson is a native of Macon County and a former Kindergarten and 2nd-grade teacher. She will serve as principal of Fairlane until Fall Break while the district office interviews candidates for the position. Macon County Schools would like to wish Dr. Rachel Stafford the best in her future endeavors.
