Red Boiling Springs, Macon County, TN— June 19, 2026 — Macon County Schools is proud to announce that Ms. Cristina Anderson has been selected as the Herbert Teacher of Excellence in Agriculture for the Middle Tennessee region, a prestigious recognition honoring outstanding agricultural educators who demonstrate exceptional teaching, innovation, and commitment to student success.
The Herbert Teacher of Excellence in Agriculture Award recognizes educators who inspire students through engaging instruction, innovative learning experiences, and a dedication to preparing the next generation of agricultural leaders. Ms. Anderson was selected for her impactful teaching philosophy, student-centered approach, and ability to connect classroom learning with real-world agricultural applications.
