There will be a series of open meetings dealing with the new elementary school. The meetings are open, and the public is invited to attend.
Pre-Bid Contractor Meeting
9:00 am on Wednesday, June 18, in the auditorium at Macon County High School.
This is a meeting for potential construction bidders to get clarification on any questions they might have concerning the project. There will be no public comment.
Public Bid Opening
2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 1, in the auditorium at Macon County High School.
This meeting is to publicly open the bids for the project. There will be no public comment.
Regular Session Board Meeting
6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 8, in the auditorium at Macon County Jr. High School.
The Macon County School Board will formally accept or reject the bid during the meeting. There will be a time for public comment. If you are interested, please refer to board policy 1.404- Appeals to and Appearances Before the Board and review the section concerning PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD.
