My name is Erica Woodard and I am the principal at Central Elementary School in Macon County. I am a 1994 graduate of Macon County High School; I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee State University in 2003. In 2008 I received my Masters Degree from Cumberland University, and my Educational Specialist Degree from Tennessee Technological University in 2013. I have taught Special Education, Kindergarten, 2nd Grade as well as 3rd Grade. I was also an Instructional Leader at Macon County Junior High School as well as a Literacy Coach at Westside Elementary School.
I taught at Central for many years and this school has a very special place in my heart. I am honored to be back at Central. I am married to Chris Woodard and we have two children, Cidney and Eli. We reside here in Lafayette.
