In Macon County we are proud that every classroom has an Internet connection and that we are able to support teacher technology training needs through our Technology Learning Center.  Beginning July 2007, all schools in the county are connected to the Board Education with a fiber.  This is an initiative that has been in progress for almost a year.  Hopefully, by April 2007 there will be a fiber egress to the Internet cloud from the Board of Education's educational county router.
