VISION It is the vision of the Macon County School System to provide all children with a safe and inviting environment to ensure their success. We want to instill in each student high expectations, morals, and respect enabling them to graduate with the knowledge and skills to become productive and responsible citizens. MISSION The Macon County School System inspires and empowers students to meet high academic standards, lead ethical lives, and demonstrate responsible citizenship.

The Macon County School System complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 88-352) and in accordance with Title VI of that Act, no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which the applicant (Macon County School System) received federal financial assistance and will immediately take any measures necessary to effectuate this Agreement.
